Rules and expectations
Principles translated into understandable guidance and observable conduct.
Branch II / Projeto Escola Segura
School culture, discipline and governance. An approach to helping owners and heads clarify responsibilities, organise routines and coordinate responses to situations requiring attention.
When departments respond inconsistently, a school becomes less predictable. Poorly understood rules, overlapping responsibilities and incomplete records make leadership more difficult.
Escola Segura structures this assessment around six dimensions. The findings inform priorities; implementation and ongoing support are defined according to the school’s context and the agreed proposal.
Principles translated into understandable guidance and observable conduct.
Clear criteria for handling similar situations responsibly.
Arrival, transitions, circulation, breaks and departure with defined responsibilities.
Facts, actions, referrals and dialogue with families.
Support, adaptations and referral to the appropriate professionals.
Decision-making authority, internal responsibilities and action review.
Agreed documents and interviews, observation where included, and a report of priorities.
Responsibility matrix, selected routines and processes, and record and communication templates.
Case discussion and rehearsal of procedures with the team, within the agreed scope.
Execution reviews, indicators, adjustments and transfer of the follow-up routine to the school.
The proposal defines deliverables, the school unit or phase, meetings and responsibilities. Implementation may be organised over 90 days, depending on assessment, scope and school participation.
Our scope is school management and institutional culture. Specialist private security, legal advice and clinical care have their own scopes and responsible professionals.
The owner or head responsible for the institution. The initial conversation identifies the challenge, decision-makers and conditions for developing a proposal.
Yes. Assessment has its own value and deliverables. Implementation and ongoing support are commissioned separately according to the school’s needs.
The aim is to improve organisation, prevention and the institution’s ability to respond. School safety and culture depend on context, participation and the work of the professionals involved.
